We've Reached The End

The United States is a great country, with great people, great landscape, and vast natural resources. But we have an irredeemably corrupt government! A government that is completely captured by ruthless oligarchs, and rogue intelligence agencies. A government that utterly ignores the Constitution. A government that is too corrupt to function, and is racing us ever faster towards armageddon. But instead of trying to do anything to prevent that, our politicians are just milking as much corruption out of our dying system as they can before it collapses. Any attempts to correct our course or fix our problems within the current parties are thwarted. Politicians are blackmailed. Elections are rigged. Legitimate political activists are aggressively targeted by the crooked FBI. So where do we go from here? How do we save our country? This proposal seeks to answer that question.

Financial Armageddon

Several major fiscal calamities - a rapid global shift away from the dollar, a banking collapse, a real estate crash, a $100 trillion "black swan" event, and a US government default - will happen simultaneously, bringing the entire western-led global financial system to a cataclysmic end. Nothing leaders do to try and prevent it will work.

Geopolitical Realignment

Most other countries are super fed-up with our warmongering and belligerent meddling abroad. Disagreements over the war in Ukraine were the final straw for many of them. So dozens of other countries are leaving the US-led international order and joining a new (extremely formidable) one led by China and Russia - called BRICS.

Sovereignty Crisis

According to the Supreme Court, the Vatican's "Doctrine of Discovery" is the legal foundation of the US Government's claim over the land, people, and resources of America. Now that it has been nullified, its claim is [technically] no longer valid, opening a legal Pandora’s box for property rights & territorial boundaries of all American countries.

What To Do About It

Reformat America

America is like an old cell phone that is so bogged down with viruses and spam that it can barely function. The only way to fix it, is to wipe it clean and install an updated operating system. We need a Constitution that actually protects us, and a government that actually serves the people.

Initiate Peaceful Revolution

Create massive decentralized movement of new and independent candidates. Overwhelm the Uniparty in the culture and at the ballot box.

Update Constitution

Modernize our Constitution, add an Internet Bill of Rights, and specify huge penalties for officials who violate bedrock principles.

Restructure Government

Create a simple, modern, functional government that is required to act responsibly and focus primarily on important domestic issues.

Escape From Our Debt

Savvy maneuvering will allow us to escape economic armageddon and start fresh:

Challenge Claim

Challenge the US Government's claim over the land, people and resources of America. Cite the (nullified) Doctrine Of Discovery.

Transfer Sovereignty

Create new elected government, and transfer all sovereign assets. Depriving our existing government of the collateral it needs to borrow.

Discharge The Debt

Bankrupt the existing government entity and discharge most of its massive debts. Make agreements with other countries to do the same.

Emerge As New Country

Rollover vital services like Social Security, and pay for them with a new permanent fund fueled by energy and natural resources.

We cannot allow nostalgia to prevent us from taking the ruthlessly pragmatic actions needed to secure our future.

Restart Our Congress

New Rules For Members:

Term Limits

Twelve year term limits are enough time to pass and implement big projects, but not long enough to allow for career politicians.

Pay Structure

Banking style pay: $600k per year but only if aggressive, performance based benchmarks are achieved. Politicians must perform to get paid.

Trading Ban

Categorical ban on all individual stock/bond trading for all politicians (and spouses) while in office. All assets must be held in blind trusts.

Int'l Lobby Ban

Lobbying ban on all corporations whose International HQ is not in the United States. Foreign companies must use diplomatic channels of home country to lobby.

Spend Time In District

Members must spend 50% of their time at the capitol solving problems and 50% of their time serving constituents in their home district.

Virtual Congress

Politicians must spend at least 50% of their time in their home district. Votes & committee hearings can be held via secure video conferences.

Staff Budget Increase

Shoestring staff budgets mean that all bills are written by corporate lobbyists. Staff budget increases will allow congress to write laws.

Page Limit on Laws

Laws must be dramatically simplified. All new laws must cover only single subjects and be limited to a couple hundred pages.

Move Our Headquarters

Build A New Capital

In Kansas

Washington DC is far better suited for being a giant history museum, than a functional venue for a government. Kansas is the geographic center of the United States. It is the only place we would be able to collectively agree is fair to build our new capitol. It has vast amounts of flat, cheap land to build on. And it would send a clear message to all future politicians: That they are in charge of fixing THIS country (not Europe, not the Middle East, not Ukraine). Also, unlike DC, Kansas is a state, not a military district, so our new government would be required to obey the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. (no exceptions!)

Build It Like Apple HQ

Everything Congress needs to do their job in one place with no distractions. Members should be required to live on premises when in session and required to spend half of their time back in their home district. Lobbyists should only be allowed to meet with members in their home district.

Functional Modern Design

Everything politicians need to do their job should be built into the new US capital building: All Congressional chambers (Senate/House), and offices & resort-style suites for every member.

Unlimited Food, Zero Lobbyists

Members should be required to live on premises when they are in session. Delicious food should be included/served onsite at multiple world-class cafeterias. And all lobbyists should be banned.

Resort-Style Accomodations

Luxury apartment suites (including a Spa, Pool, and Fitness Center) included onsite, so members can save money, network after hours, avoid long commutes, and focus on being productive.

Is That Realistic?

Yes, Other Countries Already Did It

Other countries are already rebuilding their new capitals away from their old ones, because they too realized that their existing capitals were highly impractical for running a functional government.

Egypt

Egypt is building a completely new capital district out in the middle of the desert, because Cairo was too old and crowded to function.

Indonesia

Indonesia is building a new modern capital on a completely separate island than the one its currently on, because Jakarta is too crowded to function.

Mostly Software Government

Make Things Work Again

Our current system hemorrhages trillions of dollars on waste, fraud, abuse, inefficiency, and corruption. We could provide 3X the services for half the price if it was designed properly. Modern organizations run on software. Software that is fast, efficient, objective, and accessible 24/7/365. Right now, nobody can track where the trillions of dollars we give our government is spent. The problem is so bad, that corrupt politicians and malicious oligarchs are trying to introduce centralized digital money with dystopian surveillance capabilities. Software based government will give decision makers and taxpayers the ability to track every single dollar spent, without requiring the use of government-controlled nightmare money.

Eliminate Waste

Unimaginable amounts of time, money and resources are wasted on hellacious bureaucracy, and inefficient processes. Time and money that could be spent on fixing things, and dramatically improving services while keeping taxes low.

Level The Playing Field

Oligarchs don't mind the bureaucratic mess, because they can bribe and lobby their way to the front of the line. Software will force the government to treat everyone equally. And it will end all grandfather clauses & shortcuts.

Make Everything Work Fast

Desperately needed laws can take decades to pass. Permits can take years to be granted. Software will allow everyone to get what they need - quickly - without all the headache of waiting for bureaucrats to process documents.

Decentralize Everything

Centralized systems are extremely vulnerable to fraud, corruption, and foreign interference. America needs to decentralize if it wants to thrive in the future:

Decentralize Finance

Government should never again have the ability to manipulate the money supply. Money should be decentralized and backed by tangible, finite assets.

Decentralize Media

Centralized, consolidated control over media distorts truth and creates an environment ripe for corruption. Future media must be decentralized to optimize transparency and liberty.

Decentralize Energy

Emerging technologies will enable regular people to generate their own energy for low/no cost, and not be dependent on government or corporate utilities for this basic human need.

Space Force

Space Force must become the preeminent, independent branch of the military, and one of their most important missions will be providing and maintaining a secure, decentralized, space-based internet service for all Americans (similar to how the Air-Force provides free GPS now).

Blockchain Elections

Decentralized, blockchain-based based voting is the only way to securely modernize our elections in an auditable way that allows for same day results. Voter registration requirements should go away and every citizen should be able to verify their identity and vote (hassle-free) on election day.

The Great Realignment

Earlier this year, the People's Party (ex-Bernie-lefties) and the Libertarians (Ron Paul fans) successfully pulled off a joint Anti-War Rally called "Rage Against The War Machine." This experimental collaboration was groundbreaking! For the first time ever, "left wingers" and "right wingers" were able to put aside their political differences and come together to advance a shared agenda. For this powerful display of solidarity, they were viciously smeared. Causing several influencers to cave-in to the pressure and pull out of the budding coalition. But the core group of leaders ignored the haters, and continued their collaboration. In April of 2023, they built upon that progress at the Independent National Convention in Austin, Texas - where they all agreed to continue working together to advance shared interests and potentially pile onto each others candidates in 2024.

More voters than ever are completely fed up with both parties. If we unite the Independents, we can easily beat them.

Recruit Some Whales

Democrats have mega-donors like George Soros. Republicans have mega-donors like the Koch Brothers. We need our own bottomless pool of capital. But we don't want to be influenced by corporate interests! So we should recruit some crypto billionaires to finance all of our candidates and capers. A dedicated group of them should be formed, committed to supporting independent candidates exclusively. Unlike traditional wealthy donors who expect ongoing political favors, this new group of billionaire boosters will only get return on investment from crypto market growth - facilitated by the candidates they fund creating a favorable regulatory environment for crypto. That way, we can get new candidates funded, free from any undue expectations, allowing for a truly independent political landscape.

Defect Some Suits

A small number of politicians in both parties seem to be sincere in their beliefs, but are never able to act on them because they are constantly thwarted by their Party Establishments. We need to get as many of these sincere politicians as possible to leave their party and go independent.

Strike A Grand Bargain

Have voters all agree to vote against the Uniparty. For example, if there is a Progressive running in CA, and a Libertarian running in TX, have all the Libertarians in CA vote for the Progressive. And all the Progressives in TX vote for the Libertarian. Anyone besides R's or D's.

Create A Perfect Storm

Voters in the USA are split 1/3 Democrat, 1/3 Republican, and 1/3 Independent. The only reason Independents rarely win is because they are split-up into a bunch of smaller groups. By coming together, and voting as a block, Indy's can become large enough to sweep the Uniparty.

Overwhelm The Uniparty
